We are GoECart, an entrepreneurial, technically advanced, Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) e-commerce company. GoECart, our product of the same name, is an award-winning, feature-rich and cutting-edge e-commerce solution that hundreds of customers use to sell their goods and services on the Internet. In short, we help our customers make money!
 
As we expand our sales and client services capacity, we are seeking an account manager who will work with our existing customers, help them understand how to get the most value from our software and services, and generate more revenue by selling additional products and services. As a contributing member to the GoECart team, you will deepen your knowledge of e-commerce, and expand your sales and customer service skills, while helping us to aggressively grow our business.
 
If you have previous sales experience, consistently met or exceeded your sales quota, excellent phone and written communication skills, an understanding of how e-commerce works, an ability to learn software applications quickly, and if you are comfortable working with customer relationship management (CRM) systems following a sales process, please send your resume to Careers@GoECart.com

Reports To: Director of Inside Sales

Based At: Bridgeport, Connecticut Office

Primary Role:
Maximize revenue stream from our current customer base This includes creating a close working relationship with our customers to reduce client attrition and maximize revenue potential from this segment of the business

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build excellent relationships with existing accounts, including pro-active telephone calls to check on customer satisfaction
  • Act as liaison between Technical Support and customers
  • Up sell and cross sell to current customers: product upgrades, training, and service opportunities
  • Manage proposal process; this includes customization requirements gathering, needs analysis, solution development in collaboration with professional services, contracts and negotiation and close
  • Help ensure initial successful GoECart implementation and use
  • Help customers maximize their understanding of GoECart features and capabilities so the customer can maximize his revenue/return
  • Keep current on products and services offered and industry trends
  • Inform customers of new product and service offerings
  • Get referrals from customers
  • Identify satisfied customers for references
  • Track sales activities and transactions, enter into CRM and report to Director of Inside Sales
  • Develop and make presentations to Clients regarding GoECart products and services
  • Provide pipeline and forecasting information to management
Qualifications

Prior Experience
  • Two+ years selling software products/services
  • Prior experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Skills
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Ability to develop and document technology solutions to business problems
  • Knows how to sell software over the telephone
  • Ability to connect with customers
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Excellent telephone and e-mail skills
  • Ability to learn software quickly
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work with difficult customers
Knowledge
  • Familiarity with ecommerce businesses and the technology solutions
  • Familiar with CRM systems
  • Technology and Internet savvy

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree
