GoECart Shopping Cart Solution Certified by Authorize.Net

GoECart Shopping Cart Solution Certified by Authorize.Net

Certification for security and compatibility with Authorize.Net online payment gateway

Bridgeport, CT - August 11, 2005 - GoECart today announced that it has earned Certified Shopping Cart solution status from Authorize.Net— one of the world’s largest payment gateway services providers with a client base of more then 117,000 online merchants. GoECart was tested and certified under Authorize.Net’s rigorous Shopping Cart Certification (SCC) program. GoECart now joins the primer league of shopping cart solutions that have been certified for their compatibility with Authorize.Net, and GoECart merchants can immediately begin taking advantage of the robust security features provided by the solution.

Authorize.Net certifies shopping carts that are compatible with the payment gateway’s Advanced Integration Method (AIM) standards. AIM is an advanced connection method used for connecting online store with Authorize.Net systems. AIM provides control to shopping cart provider for customizing the look and feel of the online store while processing ecommerce payments.

"Authorize.Net certification is proof that online credit card transactions through GoECart are safe, secure and consumers can transact with full confidence on any GoECart store set up with Authorize.net. We are excited to offer our customers all of the benefits of industry’s leading payment gateway" Manish Chowdhary, CEO of GoECart said in a statement.

Authorize.net also certifies GoECart's compatibility with eCheck.Net®, an electronic check payment method that allows merchants to accept echecks on their websites. The certification also assures that the shopping cart is fully compatible with Authorize.net latest application programming interfaces (APIs), important criteria for additional third party software integration.

Perhaps more importantly, GoECart has been fully certified for its complete adherence to Authorize.Net's security standards, which helps merchants increase the stability and security of transactions. Some Authorize.Net security tools include Card Code (CVV2/CVC2/CID) Verification, Address Verification System (AVS) and Transaction Key Authentication.

GoECart recently announced a new version, GoECart 5.0, which provides scores of features and an award-winning search engine friendly architecture. The Authorize.Net certification is expected to further bolster the image of GoECart 5.0 as one of the safest and most secure ecommerce solutions available today.
