Job Responsibilities/Requirements and Skills:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of three years
experience in a corporate technical recruiting position and some HR
generalist experience. Excellent customer service and organizational
skills are a must. The ability to effectively interface with managers
and employees at all levels of the organization is critical as is the
ability to negotiate with candidates and vendors.
He/She will be responsible for the procurement of all technology,
professional and administrative personnel. Will be responsible for
interviewing candidates for technical and professional positions, using
technical background, behavioral interviewing techniques and other
knowledge and experience. Will refer qualified candidates to management
for interviews for specific job openings. Will consult with managers
and/or employees on job postings, employee relations issues and policy,
practices and procedures. Conduct exit interviews and create talent
acquisition reports.
- Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources and
prior experience with an HRIS database.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all co-workers, managers, sales force
and internal employees, projecting a positive, professional, service oriented image,
good telephone etiquette.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Assist with the recruitment and staffing activities of the location,
which include developing and placing ads for internal and external
postings, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, handling background
checks, pre-employment drug screenings, and preparing offer letters.
- Prepare new hire paperwork, set-up personnel files and conduct new
hire orientation.
- Process terminations and status change forms, conducts exit interviews.
- Serve as a vital point of contact to understand employee concerns
and actively assists the Senior Management team and Department Managers
in addressing and resolving concerns.
- Develop and maintain contact with educational institutions, employment
agencies, placement firms, and other sources for applicants.
- Determine Internet online recruitment strategies for attracting and recruiting candidates.
- Representation and participation of on site and off site recruitment
programs including job fairs, conferences, etc. which may include some
evenings and weekends.
- Experience with using HRIS/Applicant Tacking systems.
- Excellent communications skills (oral, written, and platform) and
interpersonal skills.
- Mature judgment and sound decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational and follow up skills required with the ability
to handle a multitude of assignments simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to professionally deal with confidential
and sensitive matters.
- Must have a sense of urgency and service orientation, with a high
level of flexibility and responsiveness required.
