Rising Gas Prices in U.S. Good News for Ecommerce Store Owners
According to a recent survey conducted by Harris Interactive, rising fuel prices and busy schedules are causing more and more U.S. adults to shop online from home. Approximately 25% of U.S. consumers surveyed said they prefer to shop online because of rising gas prices; while nearly 27% prefer shop over the Internet because they are too busy to spend time shopping offline.

As per a recent survey conducted by J.C. Williams Group, listing the address off your brick-and-mortar store on your website can help to increase sales. Over 35% of those surveyed prefer to research purchases online—and then shop offline. An estimated 68% of all respondents cited store locaters as one of the most helpful features in an online ecommerce website. Others mentioned keyword search and customer review functionality as features that help support them make a buy decision.
