Create vendors and assign products
Merchants have the capacity to quickly create vendors from the administration console and assign products to these vendors in accordance with the real-world arrangement in place for inventory sourcing.

Separately Notify Each Vendor of Order
When a customer places an order containing products spanning multiple vendors, the system has the capacity to automatically and separately notify each vendor regarding only those products that are supplied by them.
Back-end Vendor Console
All vendors have their own login credentials to a back-end vendor console that they can use to view orders containing products supplied by them. The vendors can also update the status and shipping date of each order item, as well as having the capacity to update the inventory levels for their items.
If the store is configured with the UPS Online Tools module, then the Vendor even has the capacity to generate shipping labels for the items supplied by him.

Security
The Vendor Module is extremely secure in that it restricts Vendors to viewing order and inventory info corresponding only to the products assigned to them by the store administrator. In other words they have no way of viewing information about products that are not explicitly assigned to them.
