In this section you can manage all the settings concerned
with the look and feel of your online store. The
sub-categories that help you do this are:
General
Settings
This section allows you to set
or change the options for general settings, order
settings and display settings.

General Settings - This
allows you to configure the following settings:
- Company Name - The name of your company
needs to be filled in here
- Primary Catalog Name - Name to be given
for the Primary Catalog. Primary Catalog will
have the price of the products set for the domestic
country. Domestic Country option can be set
under Order Settings
Section in the General Settings Module
- Primary Currency Prefix - Primary Currency
Prefix. (E.g., USD 12)
- Primary Currency Suffix - Primary Currency
Suffix. (E.g., 12 $)
- Secondary Catalog Name - Name of the
Secondary Catalog. Secondary Catalog will have
the price of the products set for a country
other than the domestic country.
- Secondary Currency Prefix – Secondary
Currency Prefix
- Secondary Currency Suffix – Secondary
Currency Suffix
- Exchange Rate – The rate of exchange
for the Secondary catalog as compared to the
Primary Catalog (For example, If the Primary
Catalog were in US Dollars and the Secondary
Catalog in Indian Rupees, supposing the prevailing
rate of exchange were $1 = Rs. 48, then the
exchange rate will be Rs. 48 for the secondary
catalog in Indian Rupees for 1 US dollar. )
- Result Sorting - Here you can set the
Sorting Order for the Products searched Result.
The Sort Keys are “Alphabetically”, “Price”
and “Sort Code”
- Primary Sort Key:
You can set the Primary Sort Key which has to
be applied for sorting the Products in the client
section.
- Secondary Sort Key:
You can set the Secondary Sort Key for the sorting
of the Products.
Note: The Primary and
Secondary Sort Keys cannot be the same.
- Product Group Title - You can set the
Product Group Title here.
- Product Search Looks in - You can set
the Search method for the Products. The Search
options are “Product Description”, “Product
Name” and “Both”. If you set the option to “Product
Description”, then the entire search relating
to the Products will search only for the “Product
Description”. Similarly if you set it to “Product
Name”, the searches only match for the “Product
Name”. You can set “Both” if you want to search
the Products both in “Product Name” and the
“Product Description”
Order
Settings - This section allows you to
decide upon various order options to be made available
on the store. They are:
Order Alert Email address
- Here the email of the person(s) responsible
for executing orders should be entered so that
they receive the email as soon as the e-store
receives an order. The admin can enter Multiple
Email addresses separated by commas. For example,
John Smith < jsmith@email1.com >, David Jones
< djones@email2.com > etc.,
- Order Confirm Email Reply Address –
This is where the email address of the person
who is going to confirm the order needs to be
set. The admin can enter multiple Email addresses
separated by commas.
- Order Confirmation Email to Customer
– The content that has to be displayed in the
order confirmation email.
- Email Customer on Order Completion
– You can set whether an email has to be sent
to the customer on Order completion.
- Domestic Country – The domestic country
of operations or where the e-store has its major
business interest needs to be specified. E.g.
For an e-store company having its main business
interest in US, you would set the domestic country
to US.
- Display Alert Message When Item Added to
Shopping Cart – To set whether an alert
message should be displayed when an item is
added to the shopping cart.
- Use Custom Tax Manager – In this section
you can charge any Additional taxes and Shipping
taxes as per your store policies. If the Custom
Tax is set to Yes, Clicking the “Edit values”
link enables you to modify the Shipping Taxes
for the States in the Custom
Tax Manager.
- Redirect User to Shopping Cart After Adding
the Item – If this option is set to YES,
when a customer adds a product to his shopping
cart, the item will be added to the cart and
simultaneously the customer will be taken to
the shopping cart page. Otherwise, the last
visited page will be displayed.
- Minimum Order Amount – This is the
minimum amount of purchase order that a customer
has to place on the store.
- Display Special Instructions Text Box During
Checkout – If this option is set to YES,
then the Special Instructions text area will
be displayed in the check out process in which
the customer can enter some text for the instructions,
which the store keeper can use for reference
about the particular order. If the option is
set to No, then the text area will not be displayed
in the client section.
- Display Credit Card logos During Checkout
– This option when set to ‘Yes’ will display
all the credit card options during check-out.
- Display Giftwrap Option – This is used
to set the Giftwrap option in the client section.
If Enabled, the Giftwrap option is displayed
in the checkout process. The Edit option
allows you to Enable or Disable the Gift Wrap
Option, set its Price and set the option to
allow or disallow the client to compose a Gift
Message.
- Acceptable Credit Card Types – You
can set the acceptable Credit Card Types for
your Transactions. You can set “Visible” and
the “Sort Order” by clicking the Edit Link.
Display Settings - This
section allows you to configure the display settings
that will be seen on the e-store. The parameters
are
- Products Per Page – The number of Products
that needs to be displayed on the e-store needs
to be set here.
- Display default Product Images – The
option to set whether default Product Images
can be shown for the Products in the Products
description pages.
- Number of Columns in Category Lists
– Allows you to decide upon the number of columns
to be kept under Category List.
- Number Of Columns in the Product List
– The number of columns in the Product List
can be set here.
- Display Buy Button in Product Lists
- Can be set to "Yes" or "No".
- Display Top Menus (About Us,…) – You
can set the value of this option as "Yes"
or "No" to display the horizontal
top navigation bar on the client side.
- Hide Products If Not In Stock – This
allows you to decide whether to show the products
for which the stock level has gone to zero or
still display that product on the store.
- Display Products in Product Group Only
– If this option is set to YES, then the display
in the client section will be based on Product
Groups.
- Price Label – The Price label in the
Client section is displayed based on the label
entered here.
- Hide Product Weight – The weight of
the product is hidden or displayed in the client
section based on the option selected here.
- Hide Product Images in the Search Result
– You can set to display or not to display the
product images in the Search Page when the user
searches in the Storefront for a Product or
Product Group.
- Display SKU in Search Results and Products
List – You can set the option to display
the Product SKU while displaying the search
results for the products in the storefront searched
by the customer.
- Display Category Drop down in Product Search
– You can display or hide the category drop down
during product search by using this option.
- Display Real-Time Shipping Calculator in
Shopping Cart – You can display or hide
the Real time Shipping Calculator displayed
in the shopping cart page, if the real time
shipping option is enabled in the shipping manager.
- Width of the Resized Thumbnail (Pixels)
– If the thumbnail image for any product is
not uploaded, then giving the width for the
Thumbnail image will resize the big size image
for that particular product and display it as
a thumbnail image on the client side.
- Width of the Resized Medium Image (Pixels)
- If the medium sized image for any product
is not uploaded, then giving the width for the
medium sized image will resize the big size
image for that particular product and display
it as a medium size image on the client side.
- Display Product Price When Customer Logged
in Only – This setting is used to display
the Price of the Products throughout the storefront
only if the customer logs in. You can set this
option to YES if you want to display the Price
of the products for the authorized users only.
- Default New Customer Status is Active
– You can use this option to set the default
account status of the customer who registers
with the store. If this option is set to NO,
the customer’s account Status will be Inactive
when they register and the Administrator has
to manually change the Status to "Active".
- Credit Card Info in Account Profile is
Optional – You can use this option to make
the Credit Card details mandatory during the
checkout and registration in the storefront.
- Repopulate Credit Card Details in Online
Credit Card Option – You can set this option
to YES, to populate (load) the Credit Card details
entered by the customer in the Payment option
page, during checkout
Note: It is compulsory to provide a big-sized image
for all the products

Colors
and Fonts
Changes in the site-wide color schemes and side-wide
font types for various sections in your e-store
can be customized in this section as per your
requirement. Various parameters are provided for
which colors and fonts can be set by the admin,
which are reflected on the client pages. The meaning
of each parameter is as follows

Colors
- Border Color - This will change the
color of the Left & Top Panel on the client
side. The Left Panel is the one which contains
the links set using the Navigation Layout under
Site Settings Menu
- Category Description Color – The Category
description color will be displayed based on
this selection
- Color of Even Rows in Product Lists
- This is the background color of the even rows
where products are displayed
- Color of Odd Rows in Products Lists
- This is the background color of the odd rows
where products are displayed
- Manufacturer Name Color - This sets
the color of the Manufacturer name text in the
product description page.
- Page Sub Head Color - This is the color
of the font of the sub heading of the page.
For example “Browse Results - Filter by Manufacturer”
- Page Subtitle Color - This is to set
the color of the subtitles in the client pages.
- Shopping Cart Total Color - This sets
the color of the subtotal amount in the shopping
cart page.
- Table Heading Fore Color – This is
used to set the color of the text in the table
headings.
- Top Link Back Color - This will set
the back color of the top link that appears
on the client interface
The above colors can be set using the Edit link
on the right side of each parameter. On clicking
the Edit link, you will be provided with a color
palette where you can select the colors as per your
choice.
Site Wide Fonts
- Color of Links in Top Menus - This
is to set the color and styles of the links
on the Top Horizontal display Bar
- Labels in the Left Navigation Bar –
This option is used to set the color and styles
of the Heading Labels in the left navigation
bar
- Navigation Bar Links (Mouse Over) -
This sets the color of the Navigation Links
when the mouse is rolled over those links on
the left panel in the client side
- Navigation Bar Links (Normal) - This
sets the color of the Navigation Links on the
left panel in the client side
- Product Text - This sets the color
of the product description in the product description
page
- Sitewide Links (Mouse Over) - This
sets the color of the links all over the site
when Mouse is rolled over those links
- Sitewide Links (Normal) - This sets
the color of the links all over the site
- Sitewide Links (Visited) - This sets
the color of the links that have already been
visited by the user on the site
You can set the fonts, font size, font weight, font
style and font effect for the above Site Wide parameters.
You can view the selected styles applied for the
settings as a preview in the “Sample Text” section.

Navigation
Layout
In this section you can decide upon the pattern
in which you want your customer to navigate your
e-store. The two main functions under this are:
Features
Under this you can decide upon the labels for
the browse options, their order of display or
to make them visible or not on your e-store. The
browse options available are
- Shop by category
- Shop by Manufacturer
- Shop by sub- category
- Join Mailing List
- Shop by price
- Search
- Links (You can manage the Links in the Link
Editor)
These are the navigation modules
that will be displayed in the left side navigation
bar of the storefront. Each module can be turned
on or off by checking or un-checking the “Visible”
text box. The display name of these features in
the storefront can be defined in this module by
changing the Label values.
Further to the above features,
you can also add/update any number of links by
clicking on the “Manage” link that appears adjacent
to the “Links” feature. On clicking the “Manage”
link, you will be taken to a Link
Editor page where you can manage all your
links in terms of adding new links with URLs,
Updating existing links & URLs, selecting options
to make the link visible on the client interface,
or selecting options to open the link in a new
popup. You can also use the admin panel to arrange
the sequence of appearance of the links on the
client interface.
In addition to this, you can
arrange the sequence of the features using the
“Move” Features Before/After any other feature,
which will reflect on the client interface based
on your sequence setting.

Price
Range Editor
Under this section, you can add/delete/set the
Price Ranges that get reflected in the “Shop By
Price” section on the left panel on the client
side. The value you set in the admin panel can
be seen on the client side in the Combo Boxes
labeled “From” and “To” in the “Shop By Price”
section. Price Ranges can be updated or deleted
by clicking on the Update link and the Delete
link respectively, which appear on the right side
of the Price ranges.
